  • Michael Diedrick
  • President, strategist, developer
  • Michael started Byte Studios in Milwaukee in 1998 to do what he loved the most: design and programming. In 15 years, he's led Byte to work with brands including Sephora, Givaudan and Diagio/Jose Cuervo.

While at Byte, Michael opened The National, an award-winning, local, sustainable and organic restaurant two doors down from the Studios. He subsequently sold it for $100 to one of Milwaukee's most promising chefs. It made the news. In Canada. And the UK.

  • Sam Korthof
  • UX Designer
  • Sam's fascination with system-building is to blame for the big nerd she's turned out to be. What started with inventing her own childhood boardgames & customizing her Neopets webpage quickly escalated into playing tabletop roleplaying games and starting a career in web design.

After graduating from UW-Milwaukee with a BFA in graphic design in 2012, she went straight to work as a user interface designer at a software company.

She's great at communicating her taste decisions in a way that both clients and staff understand, and if a design isn't up to her level of quality, she'll let you know her disapproval by burying it with the things on your desk.
